As a Security Officer - Neighborhood Patrol in Scottsdale AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and maintain a visible presence that can help to deter security-related incidents. You will support access control and badge procedures assist staff and visitors with clear communication and respond to situations with professionalism. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and/or staff by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas exterior grounds parking areas and/or perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential hazards or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and public areas assist with visitor direction and line management and help support staff with security-related requests in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation support notification of appropriate personnel and coordination with public responders as directed.
• Complete daily activity reports incident reports and pass-down communications and maintain awareness of cameras alarms and/or other security-related systems as assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
