You will document observations support access control and communicate clearly with team members and site personnel while providing customer-focused service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees contractors drivers and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications documenting events and coordinating with site contacts and/or public responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses parking lots and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Control access points by checking identification managing visitor and contractor entry issuing temporary credentials as directed and helping to maintain orderly vehicle and pedestrian traffic flow.
• Complete detailed reports and logs including patrol activity incident documentation and observations of hazards maintenance issues and/or suspicious conditions for follow-up by site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
