Employee Relations Manager
Location: Ranjangaon Maharashtra
Industry: FMCG / Food Manufacturing
Experience Required: 3-4 Years
Education: MBA in HR from Tier 1 or Tier 2 institute (Full-time)
Role Overview
The Employee Relations Manager will be responsible for managing industrial relations fostering a positive work environment ensuring statutory compliance and driving harmonious union-management relationships at the manufacturing unit.
The role requires strong exposure to plant HR labor laws grievance handling and shop-floor workforce management.
Key Responsibilities
1. Industrial Relations & Union Management
- Maintain healthy union-management relationships.
- Lead wage negotiations and long-term settlements.
- Handle conciliation proceedings and represent the organization before labor authorities.
- Prevent and manage industrial disputes grievances and disciplinary cases.
2. Statutory Compliance
- Ensure 100% compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (Factories Act Industrial Disputes Act CLRA etc.).
- Liaise with government bodies and inspectors.
- Maintain statutory registers documentation and audits.
3. Employee Engagement & Shop floor HR
- Drive employee engagement initiatives for blue-collar workforce.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
- Support workforce productivity through structured ER interventions.
- Partner with plant leadership to drive culture and behavioral initiatives.
4. Policy Implementation & Governance
- Implement HR policies standing orders and code of conduct.
- Ensure adherence to company values and workplace discipline.
- Conduct domestic inquiries where required.
5. Stakeholder Management
- Work closely with Plant Head HR Head and cross-functional teams.
- Act as a trusted advisor on IR matters.
