Job Summary
Burr and Burton Academy seeks a full-time motivated enthusiastic team-oriented English teacher for the 2026-2027 school year beginning August 2026 and ending June 2027. This is a long-term substitute position for a teacher on sabbatical. Candidates should have experience teaching high school students an English degree and the ability to develop and deliver a rich and meaningful integrated curriculum for a diverse range of learners using Universal Design for Learning (UDL) principles. Applicants should submit a personal statement resume and three references (preferably in a single pdf document) to Jamaica Kaercher Assistant to the Headmaster and Associate Head of School at Candidates will be considered on a rolling basis.
