You will support access control observe inbound and outbound activity document noteworthy events and provide clear communication and customer service to team members and visitors. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and site personnel by following post orders site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities within a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses yard areas parking areas and building perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points for employees contractors drivers and visitors; verify identification manage sign-in procedures and coordinate delivery and pickup traffic flow as directed by site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner; provide assistance during alarms medical situations fires and/or weather events and notify appropriate contacts.
• Complete incident reports daily activity logs and other security-related documentation; communicate observations and shift turnover information to Allied Universal supervision and/or site management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Have access control and/or badge experience preferred.
• Have X-ray screening experience preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
