We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Engineering to strengthen streamline and elevate CRAs engineering operations. This role will lead multidisciplinary engineering teamsMechanical Electrical and Process Engineeringwith a strong foundation in mechanical design. The ideal candidate will drive standardisation enforce engineering discipline improve cross-functional workflows and build scalable engineering systems that support CRAs product project and manufacturing goals.
Requirements
Own and elevate CRAs mechanical design and engineering outputensuring all deliverables are on time cost-aligned production-ready and compliant.
Collaborate closely with Project Management Procurement Production and Quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
Translate process designs into structured engineering outputs including layouts mechanical drawings BOMs and compliance documentation.
Establish and enforce design standards release workflows and BOM coordination systems.
Oversee simulation virtual validation and engineering analysis (e.g. FEA DFM reviews).
Lead technical troubleshooting and support root cause analysis for manufacturing or site-related challenges.
Mentor team members conduct performance evaluations and implement structured training and upskilling programs.
Support commercial teams with technical inputs for proposals compliance documentation and client submissions.
Contribute to R&D and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives aligned with CRAs innovation goals.
Apply DFMA principles to optimise designs for fabrication assembly cost efficiency and manufacturability.
Work closely with Production Operations and Fabrication teams to ensure practical and scalable engineering solutions.
Conduct pre-production design reviews and joint engineeringproduction validations to minimise rework and ensure smooth execution.
Align engineering deliverables with business objectives project timelines and manufacturing capabilities.
Build a structured high-performance team with defined roles accountability and growth pathways.
Drive standardisation across engineering processes templates workflows and documentation.
