Job Description
As a Security Guard - Unarmed Patrol in Chandler AZ you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a leading tech media and telecom location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas complete routine rounds and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will communicate clearly document observations and support access control and customer service for employees and visitors. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors contractors and employees by following site-specific procedures and Allied Universal post orders at a technology location.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior areas loading docks parking areas and perimeter points to help identify unusual activity or access concerns.
- Control access by verifying credentials managing visitor and contractor check-in and/or check-out and directing authorized personnel to the correct areas per site policy.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner requesting assistance from site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
- Complete detailed patrol activity reports and incident documentation and communicate relevant observations during shift handoff to support consistent security-related coverage.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
