As a Security Officer - Manufacturing Patrol Driver - Day Shifts in Peoria IL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced manufacturing and industrial location as an unarmed Patrol Officer in a driving post. You will conduct routine patrols across the site stay highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents document observations using site technology and support employees and visitors with strong customer service and clear communication. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors vendors and employees by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an industrial manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner documenting observations and actions according to post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas warehouses loading docks parking areas and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify hazards or maintenance issues for reporting.
• Monitor access points and vehicle traffic verifying identification logging entries and exits and directing people and deliveries to designated locations per site policy.
• Complete routine reports shift logs and incident reports and communicate relevant updates to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
