Job Description
As a Security Officer Flex Screening Driver in Fort Worth TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution and more. Join a leading team where flexibility meets opportunity. As a Flex Part-Time Security Officer you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. Learn more: As a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will support daily operations by controlling access screening people and items and documenting activity using site systems. You will maintain a visible presence communicate clearly with drivers employees and visitors and help identify security-related concerns early. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by following security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Conduct screening of employees visitors contractors and/or drivers as required including checking identification verifying authorization and inspecting bags packages and other items in accordance with post orders.
- Monitor entry and exit points maintain accurate logs and reports and communicate screening results and concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including documenting events and notifying appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter noting irregular conditions and reporting issues that may help to deter unwanted activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
- Have customer service experience preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
