This is a brilliant opportunity for a Product Manager to join an effective cross-functional team in Edinburgh. As a global team we follow Agile processes and consist of software developers and business analysts based in Avaloqs development centres across Edinburgh Zurich Berlin Luxembourg Pune and Manila.
Collaboratively we work with clients and partners to develop and deliver innovative product solutions to meet market demands help shape the back-office landscape of tomorrow and maintain existing features in live use. Your role will be to work across multiple projects simultaneously and collaborate with Engineering Design and Marketing teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.
- Lead the product lifecycle from ideation to launch and post-launch optimization.
- Conduct market research analyse competitor products and keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and to maintain our competitive edge.
- Gather and prioritize product and customer requirements working closely with stakeholders to understand their needs.
- Develop and maintain a product roadmap aligned with company goals and market demand.
- Conduct impact assessments to measure the effect of regulatory change on a process.
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure product success and inform decision-making.
Qualifications :
- Proven experience working in a similar role practicing product management methodologies (Agile and Scrum)
- Broad knowledge of the transactional functions domain in Financial Services: transactional and regulatory reporting payments securities trading
- Ability to communicate to a range of seniorities and technical or non-technical stakeholders to present product strategies roadmaps and performance metrics
- Ability to use your analytical skills to translate data into actionable insights in tandem with your strategic approach and awareness of market trends
- Proficiency in project management tools (Jira or Trello) and knowledge of user experience (UX) principles
It would be a real bonus if you have:
- Bachelors degree in Business Computer Science or related field
- German-speaking language skills or another European language
- Experience working with or knowledge of Avaloq products
