We have two exciting opportunities for Crushing and Screening Sales Engineers to play a key role in driving new business growth across the these roles youll open doors build strong pipelines and convert highvalue opportunities for crushing screening and comminution solutions with full ownership from first customer conversation through solution development negotiation and close.
Youll build visibility and influence in the market through proactive prospecting regular site engagement and trusted relationships with customers EPC/EPCM partners and internal teamsdelivering longterm value and tangible results.
What youll do
Market Development & Hunter Activity:Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through outbound prospecting onsite visits CRM prospecting lists and targeted campaigns. Build strong early-stage influence with customers EPC/EPCM firms and process consultants. Conduct market scans and competitor assessments to position Weir solutions effectively.
Technical Sales & Application Engineering:Conduct application reviews to determine appropriate crushing and screening equipment. Develop accurate costings equipment selections and layout recommendations. Provide technical advice during tendering and client engagement. Support customers with onsite technical supervision troubleshooting and installation guidance.
Tendering Proposals & Deal Execution:Lead the development and submission of proposals and tenders ensuring technical and commercial accuracy compliance and competitiveness. Drive the sales cycle from initial engagement through negotiation to order close. Use CPQ and approved pricing tools to maintain margin discipline.
Pipeline & CRM Ownership:Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM (Salesforce) opportunity records. Forecast opportunities and provide timely monthly reporting. Monitor opportunity progression and escalate risks or resource gaps.
Customer Relationship Management:Build trusted relationships with end users engineering groups and consulting partners. Conduct regular site visits technical presentations and capability sessions. Ensure timely resolution of issues and continuously drive customer satisfaction.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:Collaborate with Product Management Engineering Aftermarket Planning Logistics and Manufacturing. Support new product introduction (NPI) and provide market feedback. Participate in project handovers to ensure smooth delivery.

Travel Requirements:Travel up to 40% of the time including car driving (up to 7 hours per day) aircraft boats and visits to remote areas.
What youll bring
Must-haves:
Proven hunter background with strong business development experience in technical sales ideally within crushing and screening or comminution equipment.
Strong technical expertise in crushing and screening equipment applications and solutions.
Commercial acumen with experience managing complex customer relationships and sales cycles.
Proficiency in CRM systems (Salesforce) SAP and CPQ tools.
Nice-to-haves:
Tertiary qualifications in mechanical chemical or process engineering.
Previous experience within the mining industry especially with comminution/materials processing products.
Experience working with EPC/EPCM partners and process consultants.
Ability to analyze market trends and competitor positioning to inform sales strategies.
