Job Description
As a Security Officer - Clinic Roving Patrol in Los Angeles CA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location you will conduct routine rounds and remain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to calls for assistance support staff and visitors with clear communication and customer service and document observations and/or incidents. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents disturbances and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting clinical staff site leadership and/or public responders as directed by post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols of hospital grounds parking areas and building perimeters monitoring for unauthorized access suspicious activity and/or hazards to operations.
- Control access at designated entry points by observing visitor flow assisting with directions and documenting security-related activity in accordance with site procedures.
- Complete detailed reports on incidents patrol observations and/or medical campus events and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal supervision and site representatives.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
- Be able to provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
