As a Security Officer - Unarmed Hospital Patrol in Philadelphia PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education and more. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to students faculty staff and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities at an academic location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating notifications and/or requesting assistance from on-site personnel and local emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of campus buildings common areas parking areas and perimeter routes to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify hazards or policy concerns for reporting.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions complete routine checks of doors gates and equipment and report maintenance or security-related concerns through established channels.
• Complete detailed incident reports patrol logs and shift documentation and communicate relevant information during post handoff and/or to site leadership as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have a minimum of 2 years of security experience.
• Be able to comply with hospital vaccine requirements.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Have a minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
