As a Security Officer - Hospital Patrol in Danville PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for patients visitors and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner within the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or security-related incidents.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity hazards or unusual occurrences encountered during patrols in the healthcare environment.
• Assist visitors patients and staff with directions and general information as needed while maintaining a professional presence.
• Collaborate with healthcare staff and Allied Universal team members to support site-specific security-related needs and protocols.
• Document all incidents activities and observations according to post orders and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Be comfortable using computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
