As a Security Officer - Flex Armed Patrol Driver in Oregon OH you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a transportation location.
- Perform armed post duties in accordance with licensing requirements post orders and use of force guidelines including maintaining control of assigned equipment and completing required checks.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of facilities rail yard areas parking lots and perimeter points documenting observations and reporting hazards and/or unusual activity.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including coordinating with on-site contacts and/or local public responders as directed by post orders.
- Monitor access points and vehicle traffic verify identification and/or credentials as required and complete detailed reports logs and incident documentation.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
- Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
