The Role: Workshop and Spares Manager (Agriculture)
The purpose of this role is to manage and administer the workshop and parts department profitably. It exists to schedule machinery maintenance order necessary components and manage staff and SHEQ practices while using digital technologies to modify business processes and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the workshop and spares department with at least 5 years of related experience.
- Plan and organise workshop workload to maximise effective manpower utilisation.
- Schedule maintenance for machinery and equipment.
- Order spares and components required for repairs and maintenance.
- Manage inventory and financial administration of the workshop.
- Market services and handle enquiries regarding products and prices.
- Oversee staff management and ensure adherence to SHEQ practices.
- Use digital technologies to modify existing business processes and customer experiences.
About You
- 5 years related experience.
- National Diploma (Sales & Marketing).
- Knowledge of repair and maintenance of agricultural equipment.
- Management skills.
- Proficiency in inventory and financial management.
- Ability to handle complexity and exercise sound pragmatic judgement.
- Self-awareness and achievement orientation.
