Job Description
As an Armed Security Officer - Response Driverin Golden CO you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a critical utilities location you will perform mobile and foot patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and respond to calls for service with professionalism and integrity. This is a driving post requiring a valid drivers license and an armed guard card or license where you will support site operations through clear communication detailed reporting and teamwork aligned with Allied Universals caring culture.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies verifying identification and/or authorizations and supporting access control at a utilities location.
- Carry and maintain authorized duty equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies applicable licensing requirements and post orders including conducting required inspections and documenting status.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site contacts and/or public emergency services as needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings grounds and perimeter areas checking gates doors and restricted spaces to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Complete detailed activity logs and incident reports preserve observations and evidence as directed and communicate updates to supervision and site stakeholders.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A minimum of 1 year of armed security law enforcement and/or military experience is required.
- An armed guard card and/or license is required.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
