Job Description
As a Security Officer - Flex Access Control - Industrial Site in Denison TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to site personnel contractors and visitors by following post orders site-specific policies and security-related procedures at an industrial location including emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Control access at gates and entry points by verifying identification managing badge and key control processes processing visitors and maintaining entry and exit logs for employees guests and deliveries.
- Support shipping and receiving operations by directing commercial vehicles to designated areas checking required paperwork and documenting truck and trailer activity per site procedures.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including reporting hazards suspicious activity and policy violations through the appropriate communication channels.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings yards and perimeter areas and monitor security-related systems such as CCTV and alarms to help to deter unauthorized access and/or activity.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
