University Home Care Inc is seeking a passionate Volunteer Artist to create a meaningful mural at our hospice facility in Royal Oak MI. This role offers an opportunity to contribute your artistic talents to a compassionate environment enhancing the space for patients families and staff.
Responsibilities
- Design and paint a mural that reflects the values and mission of University Home Care Incs hospice care.
- Collaborate with hospice staff and patients to incorporate meaningful themes and ideas into the artwork.
- Manage the mural project timeline and ensure completion in a timely manner.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment during the mural creation process.
- Engage with the community to promote awareness and appreciation of the mural.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an artist preferably with mural or large-scale painting work.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with diverse groups.
- Excellent communication skills to gather input and share progress updates.
- Willingness to volunteer time and artistic skills without compensation.
- Availability to work on-site in Livonia MI.
