Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Route Patrol Driver in Malvern PA you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions and more. Join Allied Universal at a leading financial institution location as an armed driving patrol officer. You will complete routine vehicle and foot patrols maintain a visible presence that helps to deter incidents and respond to security-related concerns with clear communication and customer-focused service. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of lobbies office areas parking areas and perimeter checking doors access points and restricted areas for unusual activity and/or hazards.
- Respond to alarms incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner coordinating with site personnel and/or public emergency services as appropriate.
- Control access by monitoring entry points verifying credentials and directing visitors and contractors according to site procedures while helping to deter unauthorized entry.
- Carry maintain and use issued firearm and related equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies local laws and post orders completing required training and documenting security-related activities observations and incidents.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2 years of law enforcement military police and/or corrections experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have Act 235 qualification.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
