What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to residents guests vendors and/or delivery personnel by following Allied Universal security-related procedures community policies and post orders at an access control point.
- Screen and verify visitor access by checking identification confirming authorization issuing visitor credentials as directed and documenting entries and exits in required logs and/or systems.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner contacting onsite management and/or emergency services as needed and completing clear incident reports.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of community areas and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and to identify maintenance concerns policy violations and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor cameras gates intercoms and other access control equipment reporting malfunctions and coordinating with appropriate contacts for repair and/or follow-up.
Minimum Requirements:
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- Guard Card/License is preferred.
- Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
