What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors employees and vendors by following site-specific screening procedures access policies and/or emergency response instructions at a government location.
• Operate screening equipment and perform screening of persons packages and property in accordance with post orders including directing individuals through checkpoints and managing secondary screening when needed.
• Control entry by verifying identification credentials and/or authorized access lists issuing temporary badges as directed and maintaining orderly queues at screening areas.
• Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner escalating concerns through the chain of command and documenting actions taken.
• Complete required documentation such as screening logs incident reports and shift activity reports and communicate notable conditions to Allied Universal management and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 2 years of security experience is required.
• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
