Security Officer Screening Operations

As a Security Officer Screening Operations in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. As a Screener in a government location you will help monitor access points screen visitors and property and support a professional orderly environment. This role combines strong observation communication and customer service while helping to identify security-related concerns. Pay Rate: $19.45 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
• Screen visitors staff and/or contractors at designated entry points by checking identification reviewing access requirements and following screening protocols.
• Operate and monitor screening equipment such as metal detection and/or inspection devices in accordance with post procedures and reporting guidelines.
• Respond to incidents prohibited item discoveries and/or critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner while communicating with appropriate personnel.
• Maintain awareness of activity at entrances and adjacent areas document security-related concerns and help to deter unauthorized access through consistent screening practices.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess 3 years of combined law enforcement military and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
• Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
• Possess a guard card
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
