As a Security Officer - Armed Roving Patrol in Corpus Christi TX you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors staff and/or contractors at a government location by following Allied Universal procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities.
- Perform armed patrol duties including regular and random patrols of buildings grounds parking areas and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
- Monitor access points and verify identification passes and/or visitor logs in accordance with site requirements escalating concerns through the established chain of command.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including de-escalation dispatch coordination and timely notifications to site representatives and/or public responders as directed.
- Document security-related activities incidents and observations using required reports and/or electronic systems and communicate relevant updates during shift turnovers.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess Level III Armed Certification Texas Only.
- Customer Service Experience is preferred.
- State County or City Issued Security License is preferred..
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
