Learn more: As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location you will conduct routine foot and/or vehicle patrols stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents and support smooth operations by controlling access and responding to alarms and calls for service. What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to site personnel drivers and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures location policies and post orders and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of the warehouse parking areas loading docks and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and shipping and receiving traffic by confirming authorization for entry directing visitors and drivers to the appropriate check-in location and documenting arrivals and departures per site policy.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed and providing clear information to responding personnel.
• Complete detailed reports of patrols incidents and observed conditions and communicate security-related issues to supervisors and the client representative according to reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
