Job Description
As a Security Officer - Armed Gate Entry Driver in West Palm Beach FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to visitors employees and contractors at a government location by following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
- Control access through screening and verification of identification credentials and appointments and issue visitor passes and/or badges in accordance with post orders.
- Monitor entry points and security-related systems such as cameras intercoms and alarms and report unusual activity per policy.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including initiating notifications and assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Complete detailed reports of access activity incidents and shift events and communicate concerns to Allied Universal supervision and/or site contacts.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid drivers license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement and/or military and/or security-related experience or have a college degree.
- Possess an Armed Guard Card and/or license.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma and/or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
