Job Summary
A well-respected secondary school in Nottingham is seeking an enthusiastic and committed Science Teacher to join its Science Department. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are passionate about delivering engaging and high-quality science education.

The Role
The successful candidate will deliver dynamic Science lessons fostering curiosity critical thinking and practical skills. Key responsibilities include:
Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons aligned with the national curriculum and examination specifications.
Teaching across multiple key stages including preparation for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Supporting practical experiments demonstrations and investigations safely and effectively.
Monitoring assessing and reporting on student progress.
Contributing to departmental planning and curriculum development.
Supporting STEM clubs enrichment activities and school events.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with strong subject knowledge in Science (specialism in Biology Chemistry or Physics is advantageous).
Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate and inspire students of all abilities.
Knowledge of practical Science safety and health procedures.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing.
