Job Summary
A high-achieving and inclusive secondary school in Portsmouth is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join its successful Science Department. This is a full-time permanent position suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with specialisms in Biology Chemistry or Physics welcomed.

The Role
The successful candidate will:
Plan and deliver high-quality Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (Key Stage 5 available depending on specialism and experience).
Teach your subject specialism to GCSE and/or A-Level where applicable.
Assess monitor and report on student progress in line with school policies.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Support enrichment opportunities such as STEM clubs or science fairs.
Uphold high expectations for behaviour and academic achievement.
Candidate Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Strong subject knowledge in Biology Chemistry or Physics.
Effective classroom management skills.
A commitment to inclusive education and raising attainment for all learners.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
