The front-of-house team plays an essential role in maintaining the schools professional image and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Due to expansion and increasing administrative needs the school is seeking a personable efficient and highly organised Receptionist to join their friendly administrative team.
The Receptionist will be the first point of contact for students parents visitors and external agencies. The role includes answering enquiries via phone and email managing visitor check-ins maintaining reception records issuing passes supporting safeguarding procedures coordinating meeting rooms and providing general administrative support to the school office and wider staff team.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication skills a calm and welcoming manner and strong IT abilities. This is a fast-paced role requiring accuracy confidentiality professionalism and the ability to multitask while maintaining a positive attitude.
Previous experience in reception customer service or school administration
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office essential)
Ability to multitask prioritise and work under pressure
Professional warm and approachable manner
Strong attention to detail and confidentiality
Understanding of safeguarding procedures (training provided)
