Position Overview

We are seeking an Assistant Distribution Manager to join our team!The Assistant Distribution Manager supports the daily operations of thewarehouse.This position assists in supervising warehouse staff and overseesfleet receiving storage distribution systems administration inventory control sanitation safety and maintenance.Therole ensures operational efficiency strong safety performance andtimelydistribution of products to meet customer expectations.

Essential Functions:

  • Assistin coordinating warehouse personnel scheduling to ensureappropriate staffinglevels for efficient receiving and distribution of materials.
  • Exercise supervisory authority including hiring training performance evaluations merit increases promotions career development and terminations.
  • Ensure customer orders are received processed and distributedin a timely mannerto maximize service and productivity.
  • Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders against documentation andmaintainstrong inventory control processes.
  • Prepare and generate warehouse productivity reports and assist management in budgeting and meeting cost targets.
  • Support the development implementation and maintenance of warehouse management andpurchasingsystems.
  • Establish andmaintainan effective stock location system tooptimizeorganization andpickingefficiency.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of the facility equipment and materials; recommend upgrades or replacements to support productivity.
  • Maintain enforce and continuously improve warehouse safety programs in compliance with OSHA state and local regulations.
  • Actively support andparticipatein the organizations Continuous Improvement Program.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams including Transportation Customer Service Inventory Control HR and EHS.
  • Oversee 13-route delivery fleet operations including vehicle maintenance scheduling driver safety training coordination and regulatory compliancemanagement. Performother relatedduties asassigned by management.

Diversity of thought and experiences is fundamental when imagining the unimaginable. Certain skillsets/experiences are necessary; however others can be developed along the way.

Required Qualifications:

  • 24 years of progressive experience in warehouse operations or warehouse management.
  • Associate degree or higher in Engineering Logistics Management or related field preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of warehouse operations including local delivery and hazmat compliance.
  • Forklift experience or prior forklift certification.
  • Proficiencywith computers and warehouse software systems.
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP platforms AS400 experience is a strong plus.
  • Strong commitment to safety withdemonstratedexperience working within advanced safety programs.
  • Strong communication leadership and organizational skills.
  • Ability to coach develop and lead warehouse personnel in afast pacedenvironment.

Working Conditions

While performing the duties of this job the employee isfrequentlyrequired to stand walk bend stoop balance and use arms and hands to reach pull push clasp and move materials. Walking surfaces may include concrete and metal grating. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 20lbsand occasionally up to 50 lbs. The role may require work at heights or in precarious locations. Warehouse conditions may vary including hot cold or dusty environments.

Compensation & Benefits

Theanticipatedpay range for this position is $62800 $82200 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job related knowledge/skills relevant experience business needs and geographic addition to base pay this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

At Brunswick it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the salary range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidates qualifications and the business context.
