Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Retail Trainer to drive training initiatives across our retail stores in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in enhancing sales capabilities elevating customer experience standards and strengthening product knowledge across store teams to ensure consistent brand representation and superior performance.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
• Design and deliver impactful training programs for retail store staff
• Conduct induction training for new hires and refresher sessions for existing employees
• Identify skill gaps and recommend appropriate development interventions
Product & Brand Training
• Provide in-depth training on diamond jewellery collections and brand positioning
• Ensure store teams demonstrate strong product confidence and effective storytelling ability
Sales & Customer Experience Training
• Coach teams on sales techniques upselling cross-selling and objection handling
• Train staff on delivering premium customer experiences and relationship-building
Store Visits & On-Floor Coaching
• Conduct regular store visits audits and coaching sessions
• Support teams through practical demonstrations and role plays
Performance & Evaluation
• Monitor training effectiveness and track performance improvements
• Collaborate with store managers to enhance team productivity
Compliance & Grooming Standards
• Reinforce company policies service protocols and grooming standards
Required Qualifications & Experience
• Strong understanding of retail sales and customer behaviour
• Proven experience of 5 Years in delivering classroom and on-floor training
Key Skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong coaching and mentoring abilities
• Ability to influence and motivate retail teams
• Good knowledge of diamonds/jewellery retail (preferred)
• Willingness to travel within the city for store visits
