The Corporate Strategy team is a 20-person team the reports into the CEO and works directly with the senior leaders of DaVita to define strategic direction. We are responsible for aligning the senior team and our Board on the highest level questions facing DaVita. Through internal consulting and external business development the team works with the CEO to define our growth aspirations where and how we compete and the capabilities required to win. The team uses a hypothesis-based approach in problem solving to generate insights propose strategies and provide objective support to improve decision making. Members of the strategy team gain significant exposure to senior leadership and can have significant impact on organization while accelerating their career development.
The Director of Value-Based Care Strategy will report to the Vice President of Corporate Strategy and is a leadership position within the team. This person will lead a team of directors analysts and business partners to develop comprehensive strategic solutions and influence the operational leaders to execute on the strategy. For this role we envision the Director will have an emphasis on our value-based care business which has experienced significant growth in recent years and currently has $6B of medical cost under management.
Location: Denver or Washington DC preferred. Flexibility to live in other locations for candidates willing to travel 50-60% of the time.

Qualifications:
We are looking for an experienced candidate with a minimum of 5-7 years of work experience preferably in a strategy or transformation role in an analytical environment (e.g. management consulting investment banking). A candidate with an MBA or advanced degree is preferred but not required. A background in U.S. healthcare is required and experience with payors or in value-based care is strongly preferred.
