Transportation Hub Manager Sleepy Eye, MN

Position Overview:

The Transportation Hub Manager is responsible for ensuring all live haul equipment sanitation needs are executed in accordance with safety quality and bio-security standards while meeting transportation schedule deadlines. This role will provide leadership to the team working at the wash they supervise and will support the personal development of staff to fulfill individual career objectives as well as organizational needs. This individual will be expected to develop strong working relationships across company departments as well as repair and maintenance vendors to develop and implement solutions for keeping the wash site running effectively and efficiently. A strong sense of ownership in results as they relate to leadership and operational metrics is expected of the individual in this role.

What You Will Do:

• Responsible for ensuring a safe work environment and culture in our facilities by leading and maintaining our safety programs.
• Participate in the development of the departmental business plan and budgeting process to support continuous improvement and strategic initiatives.
• Establish and implement plans and strategies to develop trailer wash leads and wash staff to support career objectives and organizational leadership needs.
• Provide direction and performance feedback to contract labor partners to achieve business goals and communicate contract services and labor needs to the Trailer Wash Operations Manager.
• Coordinate training SOP development and process improvement initiatives to ensure compliance support personal development and contribute to departmental progress.
• Ensure all required tools equipment and resources are available and utilized to fulfill trailer wash functions as per SOP.
• Manage maintenance and repair schedules for trailers facilities and equipment including inspections inventory and data entry in tracking systems.
• Input data/reporting and time keeping processes relative to trailer washes to ensure the needs of the business are fulfilled.
• Ensure execution of facility/grounds maintenance and repair and coordinate with environmental resources to manage wastewater to company standards.
• Ensure trailers meet sanitation and operational expectations and are equipped with necessary supplies/tools.

What You Offer Us:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a mechanical background required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint.
• Previous power washing experience preferred.

• The targeted base pay range for this role is $60000 to $75000 with this range reflecting differences in candidate knowledge skills and experience.
