About the opportunity
As an integral part of the we can do that operation this position is responsible to administer process and authorize warranty claims to the manufacturer and reconcile them accordingly. Specifically:
- prepare process record and reconcile warranty claims as per manufacturer guidelines
- maintain complete and accurate records for warranty claims
- forward warranty claims for defective parts to the factory and distributors
- arrange for parts to be shipped back to the factory or distributor
- follow up on any outstanding warranty claims to keep receivables current
- maintain schedules for factory warranty extended warranty and pre-delivery inspection; and ensure balances remain current
- process goodwill claims and maintain general ledger
About you
Ideal candidates will have a strong background and proven experience in warranty administration including:
- 2 to 3 years of proven experience in office administration; dealership experience preferred
- Secondary School diploma or equivalent experience
- ability to adapt to a changing environment and meet deadlines
- ability to communicate professionally (verbally and written)
- strong attention to detail organized and strategic
- ability to maintain professionalism
- ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
- self-motivated and driven with a passion for excellence in execution
