Job Summary
Were partnering with awell-established multi-entity supply chain organizationserving thefood beverage and specialty goods spaceto identify a hands-onControllerwho thrives at the intersection offinance operations and logistics.
This is not a hands-off role. Its an opportunity for a senior accounting leader who enjoys being close to the businesssupporting warehousing transportation and omnichannel distribution while helping scale processes as the platform continues to grow.
What Youll Be Doing
- Own the monthly and annual close across multiple entities
- Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reporting
- Lead budgeting forecasting and variance analysis tied to operational drivers
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition tied to warehousing logistics and transportation services
- Partner closely with Operations to align activity data billing and financial reporting
- Oversee labor allocations payroll-related accounting and intercompany activity
- Maintain balance sheet integrity across AR reserves accruals prepaids and fixed assets
- Oversee cash activity reconciliations collections support and working capital metrics
- Manage capital assets including fleet equipment and facility improvements
- Design and maintain strong internal controls across all accounting functions
- Serve as primary point of contact for external auditors
- Oversee sales tax property tax and regulatory reporting
- Own accounting systems chart of accounts and financial master data
- Drive automation and process improvements to streamline close and reporting
- Lead coach and develop the accounting team while building scalable processes
What Were Looking For
- Bachelors degree in Accounting Finance or related field
- 710 years of progressive accounting experience with ownership of close and reporting
- Strong GAAP knowledge and audit readiness experience
- Background inlogistics warehousing transportation distribution or food & beveragestrongly preferred
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Operations
- CPA a plus not required
