Job Summary
Introduction
Our client a leading Hospital Healthcare Group requires a General Manager for Operations.
The incumbent will be responsible for operationalising the overall business strategy aligned to the Group liaising with various stakeholders in order to ensure business growth sustainability and the continuous enhancement of business competitiveness.
Other responsibilities include the on-going review of the business strategy in accordance with the divisional goals and the broader business strategy to be the leading healthcare provider.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Financial Planning: Understand analyse and influence the financial indicators including profitability revenue growth rate return on investments and cost drivers for the division.
- Provide Strategic Direction to the Group broadening access to healthcare in SA.
- Initiate and implement operational activities of the group which require alignment to the goals of broadening access to healthcare in SA and vision of being a global provider of quality affordable healthcare.
- Identivy manageimplement and evaluate strategic projects and develop reports to track progress of projects.
- Responsible to co-ordinate divisional process improvement interventions and progress reporting.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent NQF level 7 qualification is essential.
- Minimum 10 years experience in a senior managerial position within the healthcare environment.
- Proven track record of translating strategy into operational output.
- Proficiency in stakeholder relationship management.
- Effective negotiating skills.
- Experience in leading multiple direct reports across different functions.
