Job Summary

Coordinate BO patching upgrades and maintenance activities with infrastructure security and change management teams
Manage user access security roles folders and permissions in alignment with governance standards
Troubleshoot platform level issues such as job failures scheduling issues performance degradation and service outageBI Development and AnalyticsDesign develop and maintain enterprise reports and dashboards using SAP Business Objects and Power BIWrite optimize and maintain complex SQL queries views and stored procedures to support BI and reporting needs
Develop and maintain semantic layers UNV and UNX to enable efficient and consistent reporting
Ensure data accuracy reconciliation and performance across BI solutions
Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver reliable high quality analytics solutionsOperationsGovernance and DocumentationEstablish and follow operational standards runbooks and best practices for SAP BO platform managementCreate and maintain technical documentation for infrastructure configurations BI solutions and operational proceduresSupport audit compliance and security reviews related to BI platforms and data access
Partner with data engineering application and infrastructure teams to align BI platforms with enterprise architectureRequired Qualifications Must Have
Bachelor degree in Computer Science Information Systems Engineering or a related field
Eight plus years of experience in Business Intelligence reporting or analytics platforms
Strong hands on experience administering SAP Business Objects infrastructure including installation configuration patching upgrades server and service management performance tuning and troubleshooting
Strong hands on experience with SAP Business Objects development including Web Intelligence WebI and Universe design UNV UNXExpert level SQL skills including complex queries performance tuning and data analysis
Strong experience with Power BI development including data modeling and DAX
Experience working in enterprise environments with formal change release and incident management processes
Strong analytical problem solving and communication skillsPreferredExperience with SAP Business Warehouse BW
Experience administering BI platforms on Linux or Windows servers
Familiarity with monitoring tools scheduling and automation
Exposure to DevOps or CI CD practices for BI and analytics platforms
