Develops operational cleaning processes and manages day-to-day operations staff vendors and internal stakeholders to achieve continuity of services. Drives continuous performance improvement staff engagement and reducing costs. Identifies operational improvement opportunities develops and executes improvement initiatives in Environmental Services-Housekeeping to drive best practices. Shares accountability and collaboration with Environmental Services leadership team to accomplish departmental goals daily activities and projects. Consults with customer departments to advise on services expectations and best healthcare housekeeping practices.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience as determined by Seattle Childrens may be considered.
Minimum of 5 years current hospital or hotel supervisory experience.
Previous experience training/orienting new employees.
Demonstrated current knowledge and/or experience in development and implementation of hospital or hotel cleaning programs.
Experience in Quality Improvement or quality assurance activities.
Experience with interpretation of regulations and implementation monitoring of systems to meet regulatory requirements.

Preferred
Registered Executive Housekeeping (REH) or Certified Healthcare Environmental Services Professional (CHESP).
Bi-Lingual or multi-lingual in common second languages of our patients and workgroups.
Experience with meeting management software EPIC TMA and Mobileview.
Understanding of lean and continuous performance improvement methodologies/principles.
Familiar with Green Guide for Health Care (GGHC )and LEED standards.
Experience with DNV DOH or other regulatory auditing agencies.
Experience working with culturally diverse groups of staff.
Compensation Range
$97665.00 - $146497.00 per yearSalary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity skills experience and expertise and may vary within the range provided.
