The Position

The Nucleus team is PDMAs strategic thought partner to innovate develop experiment & deliver scalable integrated solutions & frameworks. With enterprise thinking and a cross-functional network the PDMA Nucleus provides transparency and delivers data-driven insights supporting impactful outcomes. We partner with PDMA to accelerate capabilities to be future-ready leaders in Medical Affairs execution.

This role is based in the PDMA Nucleus team PDMAs strategic thought partner designed to innovate develop experiment and deliver scalable integrated solutions and frameworks. With enterprise thinking and a cross-functional network the PDMA Nucleus provides transparency and delivers data-driven insights supporting impactful outcomes. We partner with PDMA to accelerate capabilities to be future-ready leaders in Medical Affairs execution.

The Opportunity

As the Group Lead End-to-End Evidence Generation you will provide strategic leadership to the Nucleus Team and the broader E2E Evidence Generation ecosystem within Roche and shape the future of Roches Integrated Evidence Planning frameworks. You will serve as a key architect in embedding the Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) concept and mindset as an end-to-end process throughout Pharma.

In this role you will lead a cross-functional team to facilitate continuous open dialogue with stakeholders across the enterprise monitoring evidence generation trends to ensure we meet the needs of patients and stakeholders. You will combine people leadership with strategic expertise acting as a VACC leader (Visionary Architect Coach Catalyst) to advance our Roche 2030 vision.

  • You contribute to and shape the strategy of the Nucleus Team representing the function in cross-functional and cross-departmental key projects requiring strategic direction

  • You lead cross-functional teams and initiatives taking responsibility for recruitment development performance management and succession planning for team members in your team

  • You set the vision for and lead the evolution design and implementation of the Roche Integrated Strategic Planning Frameworks including the Integrated Evidence Planning (IEP) framework to deliver our One Pharma Strategy working collaboratively with key stakeholders

  • You act as a strategic partner and enabler for teams working on evidence generation aligning IEP frameworks and supportive tools to unlock the potential of integrated evidence planning

  • You ensure the Integrated Evidence Planning concept is embedded into the wider planning ecosystem (e.g. Product Strategy Disease Area Strategy Launch Readiness)

  • You provide strategic expertise as a primary contact for other departments across the enterprise on initiatives impacting focus areas to drive joint approaches and ensure connectivity.

Who you are

  • You have 10 years of experience working in clinical development Strategic Planning Access or Medical Affairs with 3 years of leadership in a matrix or direct people management capacity and a proven track record of leading in a complex networked organization

  • You possess an excellent understanding of clinical development strategies the role of Medical Affairs and the global Access & Reimbursement landscape along with broad knowledge of medical terminology and the clinical development process

  • You have demonstrated success in shaping evidence strategies for drug development ideally within a therapeutic area or molecule unit

  • You are fluent in written and spoken English

  • You have experience in Global or Affiliate medical management access or strategic planning

  • You have international experience or experience operating across geographies and cultures
