Job Summary

Boll & Branch is seeking a Consumer Insights Analyst to join its Consumer Strategy & Insights team. You will be responsible for owning and supporting reporting and analytics needs for our cross-functional partners such as performance marketing e-Commerce merchandising and loyalty. Youll partner closely with stakeholders to develop and maintain rigorous reporting to illuminate user behavior product performance and channel efficacy and make strategic recommendations for improvement.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience with e-Commerce brands and a broad understanding of digital KPIs. The candidate should be highly analytical and enjoy building data-driven solutions. You love telling a story with data and creating actionable insights to drive growth. You are exceptional at prioritizing work setting expectations and communicating key takeaways to stakeholders. You are a nimble learner who can take on new tasks without hesitation. You are focused on impact and demonstrate curiosity data fluency and a collaborative work ethic.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and publish performance reports that track digital KPIs and ROI (including traffic conversion AOV forecasting and more). Maintain existing dashboards and reports to identify and implement areas of improvement.
  • Be an expert and key point of support for cross-functional teams on relevant platforms (Shopify NetSuite Looker and Mixpanel)
  • Assess the performance of key channels providing insights and recommendations to optimize consumer strategy
  • Partner with the Data team to maintain data integrity and create/implement new data fields when needed
  • Build and maintain strong independent relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration. Regularly update stakeholders on project progress insights and strategic recommendations.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of working experience preferably in an e-commerce focused role
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Looker
  • Analytical: You love to find the needle in the (data) haystack are metrics-driven and possess the ability to turn empirical data into insightful decisions. You demonstrate an interest in analytics and have gained experience working with data in a work personal or academic setting.
  • Intellectual curiosity: You love breaking down and tackling complex problems continuously learning and broadening your skillset.
  • Proactive: You are self-motivated and enjoy solving open-ended problems pragmatically.
  • Collaborative: You enjoy working in a team environment and seek out solutions that cater to cross-functional objectives.
  • Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent work experience

The primary location for this role can be located in either New York NY or Summit NJ. We believe our business and our culture are strongest when we work together in person. We also know that its helpful to have flexibility to work remotely. Currently we are operating under a hybrid model whereby all teams work in an office a minimum of two days per week (Tuesdays/Thursdays) and may be provided flexibility to work from home on other days. There may be times when youre asked to work in our Summit NJ headquarters because its in the best interest of our business or your team.

The annual base salary range for this role is $56k-85k (new hires are typically brought into the organization between the minimum to midpoint of the salary range posted depending on qualifications internal equity and the budgeted amount for the role). It is important to note that our salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our size industry and the market and are one part of the total rewards that we provide. Individual pay rate decisions are based on several factors including qualifications for the role experience level skillset scope of the role and internal peer benchmarking.
