We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse talented people to join Alcon. As an Associate I General Engineering supporting the MTO Team in Huntington WV a typical day will include:

• Handle complex tasks and contribute to advanced projects using your expertise.

• Develop implement and evaluate new production materials equipment and technologies before mass production.

• Complete manufacturing research and development to address production cost and quality issues including conducting technical feasibility tests to ensure production efficiency.

• Evaluate project capacity for production process design and development and implement standard manufacturing procedures.

• Evaluate production processes to reduce costs and determine product quality standards.

• Arrange equipment and tools to support production and select and communicate with vendors to determine product specifications and ensure timely budget-compliant delivery.

• Engage with partner functions such as Research and Development commercial and quality.

• Make significant decisions within your project area to influence outcomes.

• Adhere to Good Practice regulations by following Standard Operating Procedures maintaining documentation ensuring quality control and completing required training.

• Meet individual job requirements and contribute to organizational compliance.

• Commit to continuous improvement and regulatory compliance.

• Adhere to GxP regulations by strictly following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) maintaining accurate and complete documentation ensuring rigorous quality control and completing all required training.

• Responsible for meeting their individual job requirements and contributing to the overall compliance of the organization.

• Compliance with regulatory requirements and a commitment to continuous improvement are essential to our operations.

WHAT YOULL BRING TO ALCON:

• Bachelors Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school 8 yrs; Assoc.4 yrs) The ability to fluently read write understand and communicate in English
