Work in conjunction with other administrative personnel to perform a wide variety of administrative support tasks.
Duties Functions and Responsibilities:

Greets visitors handles their inquiries and directs them to the appropriate person.
Answers multi-line telephones or two-way radios and directs calls or takes messages.
Maintains office supply inventories by placing orders.

Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited high school or equivalent plus three (3) years of experience in general clerical/secretarial experience.
Education and or experience will substitute for the minimum qualifications.
Preferred Experience:
Experience with cash handling credit and debit card payments and issuing refunds.
Experience providing customer service including handling high call volume assisting visitors in the office and prioritizing customer needs.
Experience using RecTrac or a similar registration software.
Experience using Microsoft Office Suite including Word Teams Outlook and Excel.
Preferred Skills:
Ability to communicate fluently (reading writing speaking) in English and Spanish.
Other:

Position Information:
The purpose of the Seasonal Administrative Assistant position will be to assist the Aquatics Division with office duties including answering phone calls responding to emails and assisting patrons in registering for classes and trainings. Additional duties may include:
Selling Aquatics uniforms.
Taking payments and issuing refunds.
Assisting candidates with filling out applications for employment.
Filing daily finance reports.
Opening and closing the Aquatics office as needed.

Work Schedule:
Variable schedule: Monday to Friday 20 to 40 hours per week.
May be required to work during special events evenings weekends & holidays.
Work schedule and location is subject to change based on department needs and programs.
