Reporting directly to the Director-Sales the incumbent is responsible for working in collaboration with our Red-D-Arc sales teams and Airgas partners to drive rental/lease/sale growth across BotX & cobot product lines. Incumbent will also be responsible for maximizing cross promotion efforts and identify additional customer opportunities for weld automation and speciality products (encompassing orbital & heating blasting and related welding equipment). The incumbent is required to follow up on sales leads build strong relationships with regional sales teams and supporting Airgas partners making effective presentations/demonstrations own the install process-training-customer support for cobots and lead cross training initiatives targeting Red-D-Arc & Airgas WPS to enhance and grow cobot service model.
Maintains a safe working environment by following Airgas/Red-D-Arcs health and safety guidelines.
Expands current BotX sales channels as well as collaborating with Airgas partners to develop and grow new sales channels in met-fab and welding production environments.
Drive awareness and energize sales organization engagement around BotX/Cobots for expanding RDAs met-fab footprint.
Provides application guidance and project consults for BotX/Cobot opportunities.
Responsible for training RDA field sales teams and Airgas Adv. Fab Specialists to understand our capabilities and identify opportunities to grow BotX/Cobot rentals/leases/sales.
Initiates grows and tightens alignments with all Red-D-Arc Sales Leaders Airgas Advanced Fab Team and Airgas Regional Companies for purposes of reinforcing priority around BotX & Cobot sales.
Work with Airgas Advanced Fabrication teams and Account Mgrs to package gas/wire needs w/cobot opportunities for purposes of capturing share gain and delivering total solutions.
Owns BotX/Cobot installation training and customer support.
Provides exceptional customer service.
Represents the company at trade association meetings and trade shows.
Territory growth plans and target potential customers & leads.
Maintains accurate & timely reports including business plans and regional forecasts.
Disciplined use of CRM and other sales resources to note customer activities.
Leadership: Must be able to guide mentor and influence associates.
Relationship Building: Must be able to communicate effectively and forge strategic alliances (internally/externally).
Decision Making: Must be able to work independently while making decisions based on company policies and objectives.
Problem Solving: Must be able to proactively and methodically deal with conflicting goals and challenging situations.
Education
Post-secondary education equivalent to a bachelors degree in Engineering or related field is preferred.
Experience
Greater than five years sales experience in Automation and/or Weld Process Sales (rental experience preferred).
Strong Background in all welding processes with special emphasis on cobots and automation.
Certifications such as CWI CWE CRAW CWS NCCER instructor (preferred)

Strong technical oral and writing skills as well as strong interpersonal and management skills.

Intermediate computer experience with all MS Office/Google products.

Communicates well in writing by composing clear documents
