Summary/Objective
Reporting to the IT Manager of Applications the IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for serving as a primary liaison between business stakeholders and IT. This role supports and leads analysis solution design and implementation efforts within assigned systems or projects to ensure business systems effectively support organizational strategy operational efficiency and regulatory requirements. The role operates as an individual contributor with a high degree of accountability for assigned systems and initiatives.
Essential Functions
Perform and lead analysis design and optimization of business processes and applications within assigned functional areas.
Translate business needs into clear detailed functional and non-functional requirements user stories and system specifications.
Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to evaluate implement and enhance technology solutions that align with business objectives.
Serve as a subject matter resource for assigned business systems supporting stability usability and continuous improvement.
Lead and conduct system testing activities including test planning execution coordination of user acceptance testing (UAT) and validation of deployment readiness to ensure successful adoption and outcomes.
Responsibilities & Duties
Facilitate interviews workshops and working sessions to gather and validate business requirements.
Analyze current-state processes and systems to identify gaps risks and improvement opportunities.
Develop functional documentation process flows and supporting artifacts.
Collaborate with developers vendors and infrastructure teams during design build testing and deployment phases.
Support user acceptance testing (UAT) including test planning execution and defect tracking.
Assist with configuration changes enhancements and releases ensuring proper documentation and change control.
Provide production support troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for assigned systems.
Evaluate solution options and provide recommendations based on business needs and technical considerations.
Ensure solutions align with security audit and regulatory requirements.
Communicate project status risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education & Experience
Associates or Bachelors degree in Information Systems Computer Science Business Administration or a related field or equivalent work experience required.
2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst or in a similar role supporting business applications required.
Experience in professional services financial services or regulated environments preferred.
Experience with ERP CRM HRIS or other enterprise platforms preferred.
Certifications such as CBAP PMI-PBA Agile/Scrum or equivalent preferred.
Self-motivated problem solver with a passion for learning and adopting new technologies.
Strong ability to interpret technical documentation and apply resources to resolve complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.
Travel
Minimal travel expected; occasional travel may be required based on project needs.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers phones photocopiers filing cabinets and fax machines.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however some filing may be required. This would require the ability to lift files open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
Position Type & Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time exempt position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some flexibility in hours is allowed based on managements approval.

Minimum: $85000.00 - Maximum: $95000.00 USD
