Position Summary
The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University Bloomington is accepting applications for full-time Lecturer positions (rank open non-tenure track) in the Computer Skills area starting August 1 2026. We seek dynamic student-centered educators to teach a foundational undergraduate course in Business Information Systems and Decision Making. This course primarily serves first-year business students and emphasizes practical applied instruction in business process logic and mapping relational databases (including SQL logic) data analysis and visualization (Excel and Power BI) and the use of Generative AI (GenAI) for business decision-making. Candidates will prepare students for human-in-the-loop scenarios leveraging GenAI for ideation and analysis while developing the critical managerial skill of evaluating auditing and refining AI-generated outputs. These are 10-month non-tenure track appointments with an 18-credit-hour teaching assignment per academic year. Responsibilities include meaningful service in support of teaching and curricular initiatives. All classes take place on the Bloomington Campus. This position is fully teaching-focused. There is no research requirement associated with this role.
