The Perry Local School District has a high school principal vacancy effective the beginning of the 2026-2027 contract year. Perry High School consists of grades 7-12. The Principal provides educational leadership for the building and oversees the management administration and facilitation of the schools daily operations activities and events. We are looking for a candidate who possesses a Masters degree or equivalent appropriate Ohio Department of Education administrative licensure and a minimum of three years teaching experience. Principal experienced and analytical thinking along with strong interpersonal skills are leadership competencies that research identifies as having the greatest impact on student success. These two competencies not only distinguish the most effective principals from their peers but they also define top-performing leaders across organizations in every candidates will demonstrate these two competencies by:Providing strong leadership to staff and students through fostering a values-driven culture grounded in equity and setting high expectations especially for those who have traditionally been vulnerable to cohesive teams of people within a 7-12 setting; guiding teams to establish and achieve goals.
