Description
The ESU Program Support completes job duties within the Economic Security Unit (ESU). Our County administered programs must follow State and Federal standards of practice and guidelines. Programs served include but are not limited to SNAP Medical Assistance Adult Financial and Colorado Works.
Examples of Duties
As Program Support you will perform a variety of technical and administrative dutiesin support of the ESU. This position does not determine eligibility but provides community resource referrals education and client services using various computer systems or standards of practice and serves as a customer service representative to internal and external clients regarding ESU Programs. Includes responsibility of processing confidential HIPAA protected documents. Potentially translates documents to Spanish from English and English to Spanish and assists with Spanish speaking clients. Primarily assists ESU Case Managers and the Human Services Front Desk with client and case related duties to assure timeliness and accuracy. Will work closely with the ESU Supervisor and ESU Programs response to Federal and State legislative changes this position will certainly acquire flexibility creativity and willingness to be innovative as the landscape changes.
Additionally the position supports local emergencies with access and functional needs assistance before during and after disasters.

Typical Qualifications
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED.
Two years clerical experience andSpanish language skills preferred.
Some knowledge of the Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS) is beneficial but not required.
