Job Description:

The UF Center for Precollegiate Education and Training (CPET) is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic graduate student to join our dynamic team as a Program Coordinator for our summer program. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in curriculum development activity planning and academic mentorship while fostering a safe and supportive environment for all program participants.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Assist in developing and refining curriculum.
  • Plan organize and implement engaging activities and programs.
  • Lead small group discussions and provide academic assistance.
  • Offer constructive feedback on assignments and activities.
  • Facilitate a welcoming environment for all summer program participants.
  • Create and cultivate connections with participating faculty members.

For the Spring semester: Part-time position (up to 20 hours/week)

For the Summer semester: Full-time position (40 hours/week preferred)

Expected Salary:

$18/hour

Minimum Requirements:

Must be a current UF graduate student

Preferred Qualifications:

Major in Engineering Environmental Biomedical and/or Natural Science
