DescriptionJOB SUMMARY:
The WSOP Tournament Shift Assistant Manager is responsible for over-seeing the overall operations of individual WSOP Tournament Events. The Tournament Shift Assistant Manager will be assigned a specific event and must organize the activities of each aspect of the tournament including event registration tournament payouts tournament staffing and other various administrative tasks.
HOW YOU WILL CREATE THE EXTRAORDINARY:
- Manage the performance of WSOP Dealers and ensure that their performance meets the requirements of the WSOP Management Team.
- Provide excellent customer satisfaction by coaching Dealers and engaging customers when needed.
- Ensure that Dealers adhere to all rules regulations internal practices and policies.
- Commend Dealers for extraordinary service
- Participate in the hiring of Dealers and make recommendations and decisions regarding hiring.
- Administer progressive discipline for Dealers as necessary and provide input into disciplinary decisions.
- Oversees the tournament operations in real-time operations including making tournament rulings and labor manipulation.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
- Communicate clearly in English
- Team-oriented approach to work/responsibilities
- Neat professional appearance and good personal hygiene
- Upbeat and positive personality is essential
- Must be able to interface effectively with public and co-workers
- Familiarity with spreadsheets and relevant math skills
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
- Applicants must submit a new application each year.

- Candidates must be able to obtain a Nevada Gaming License as part of pre-employment requirements.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to work in ambient temperatures both cool and warm. Must be able to continuously maneuver in and around tables in their assigned Pit during entire shift. Must be able to respond calmly and handle many customer/staff demands in a fast paced environment. Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues. Must be able to memorize all applicable dealer procedures to use as a foundation for team coaching.
