The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has a career opportunity within the Senior & Long Term Care Division Nursing Facility Services.
This position is responsible for the resolution of disputed claims provided to Medicaid recipients by providers. This position ensures compliance with state and federal laws concerning the Medicaid claims and any related issues. This position is responsible for monitoring and verification of staffing/occupancy reports and any deficiencies.

Qualifications for this Career Opportunity
Knowledge of general accounting principles.
General knowledge of medical billing and coding terminology.
Skill in verifying the accuracy of data.
Meet minimum qualifications:
Bachelors degree in accounting business administrative finance economics or a closely related field.
One year of experience in healthcare claims processing.
Medical coding certification preferred.
Other combinations of related education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
